In this work, Nacho evokes the memory of Argentine traditions and the indelible imprint of enslaved African cultures, brought to America and sold in parks and city squares. Amidst the grief of thousands of souls, Carnival remained a tradition of the displaced as a space of resistance, communion and catharsis, where music and dance transformed pain into collective strength.
