DVTR - Live aux Foufounes (2025) Hi Res

The release features material from previous works such as the BONJOUR (BIS) EP and the single Né Pour Flàner, along with several unreleased tracks and live versions of songs like DVTR, Vasectomia, and Les Olympiques. The opening track K.C.D. (Kid, Couple, Entertainment) is a recent addition to the band’s catalogue and has been performed extensively since 2023.

DVTR is a French-speaking punk project active in Montréal, composed of Demi Lune and Jean Divorce, who perform with additional masked musicians. The band’s live presence is marked by confrontational repetition, direct slogans, and short compositions addressing topics such as contraception, anti-authoritarian views, and recreational drug use.

Formed in the early 2020s, the group gained visibility with the release of its debut EP, which received coverage from Canadian independent music publications and was included in several 2023 roundups. Their music combines elements of garage rock, egg punk, and DIY punk, drawing structural comparisons to artists such as Jay Reatard and The B-52s. The lyrics are delivered primarily in French.

The band has performed in multiple countries including Mexico and the United Kingdom, extending its reach beyond Canada. The album Live Aux Foufs documents their live activity and includes new and unreleased content in addition to alternate versions of previous recordings.
