As an eight piece band you'd expect that there will be live venues that will be a tight squeeze for the full band experience. That's why The Beautiful Failures also play as a four or five piece line up for smaller or more intimate venues. As an acoustic format the band can bring a different perspective to much of our material which can bring a more mellow character to some of the more upbeat tracks.
As a band we are constantly working on writing and recording new material for release. Our approach to recording is organic. For the band, it’s about understanding what each song is saying and bringing that story or narrative to life within the music. Much of the creative process is developed during the recording stage in the studio rather than at rehearsals.
With any eight piece live band you’d expect that there will be moments when the band is playing full tilt, making a big sound and swaying the audience. But equally, there are sensitive moments in each set when a track needs intimacy with just a sprinkling of instrumentation.
As a band we love creating, composing, recording and playing new material for our followers. New material is always on its way so keep a look out and come and say 'hi' to us at the next gig!
