Helllight - We, the Dead (2025)

Helllight's eighth album, We, the Dead, released on May 9, 2025, continues the Brazilian band's exploration of atmospheric funeral doom metal. Formed in 1996, Helllight is noted as a pioneer in this style. We, the Dead, comprising seven tracks, is described as a deeply emotional work that delves into themes of darkness, pain, misery, grief, and death.

The album features a guest vocal appearance by Heike Langhans (ex-Draconian, Remina, Sojourner) on the track "As Daylight Fades." Two lyric/music videos were released prior to the album: "Echoes Of Eons" and "As Daylight Fades." The album's artwork was created by Rodrigo Bueno.
