Nicolas Ferron - Multiverse (2025) [Hi-Res]

Multiverse is the debut album of the Nicolas Ferron Trio. Nicolas has participated as a guitarist to several projects on the Montreal jazz and indie scene (Les Passagers, Remi-Jean Leblanc Heyday, Benjamin Deschamps Augmented Reality). For this new project he recruited Jonathan Cayer on the b3 organ and Louis-Vincent Hamel on the drums. Together they create music that travels from atmospheric to energetic and exiting moods. Their influences are firmly rooted in jazz but the trio also take inspirations from film music and psychedelic rock from the end of the sixties. The trio explores with contagious pleasure the possibilities of this atypic instrumentation and does not hesitate to plunge into the wildest improvisations.
