The Box Tops - The Letter / Neon Rainbow (2018)

Western music fans can't pass up these hidden gems and reissues that have not been available for a long time at affordable prices. The first volume in the series features 40 albums selected from rock/singer/songwriter/soul/funk albums from the 60s and 70s. The Blue Eyed Soul Band with Alex Chilton, still a cult star and still very popular, released their debut album backed by Dan Penn, a legendary songwriter of Southern Soul. It features "That Girl's Letter," which reached number one in the U.S., and the hit "Neon Rainbow," which reached number 24 in the same country. It also includes covers of Burt Bacharach's "Train, Boat and Plane" and Procol Harum's "Blue Shadow. (Recorded in 1967) Limited Time Production Edition (until December 31, 2026)
