Robert John - Robert John (1979)

Robert John (real name Robert John Pedrick Jr., January 3, 1946 – February 24, 2025) was an American singer and songwriter.

His third studio album, "Robert John," was released in 1979 by Capitol Records. This work, which makes extensive use of falsetto, will be of particular interest to Bee Gees fans thanks to its melodic lines and choral arrangements.
The album brought Robert John his greatest success, featuring the hit "Sad Eyes," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in October 1979.
The album itself peaked at number 68 on the Billboard 200 chart and remained there for 14 weeks.
