Kaki King - Tutto Passa EP (2025)

Sometime in 2010, Dan Brantigan and I spent several evenings together making demos for a new project. Soon after my life was spiraling into alcoholism and illness, and Dan was there for me when I decided to make a change for the better. The project was forgotten as I stumbled and clawed my way toward sanity and sobriety.

One day in 2022, I got an email from Dan with a link to some mysterious music. To my shock and amazement, Dan had found the old files and finished the songs, even asking some of our old mutual friends to add their instrumental talents. It was the most generous gift I've ever received. Without knowing it, Dan had actually saved my life just by steering me towards reality during my darkest time. This finished project was emblematic of an enduring friendship, proof that change is possible, and "Tutto Passa," this too shall pass.
