The Franklin Electric - Victory Songs (2025) [Hi-Res]

The Franklin Electric is a Montreal–based indie folk project led by singer-songwriter and producer Jon Matte. What began a decade ago as Jon’s personal outlet for processing thoughts and emotions has grown into a globally resonant collective. In summer 2024, he toured Europe solo—playing in unique venues from underground lakes to Alpine peaks—opening for Amistat and selling out 15 shows with Salt Tree. Looking ahead to 2025, The Franklin Electric will headline a Europe & UK tour, appear at summer festivals, play a series of Canadian dates, and release the LP **Victory Songs** on May 16, 2025, featuring the singles “The Gates of Malpasso River Run” and “How You Holding On.” Fans of Old Sea Brigade, Ben Howard, Half Moon Run, Sam Fender, and similar artists will likely appreciate this project .
