Carlos Ferreira, Pedro Vian - The beginning of eternity (2025) Hi Res

Pedro Vian and Carlos Ferreira present "The Beginning of Eternity", their first collaborative EP. Ferreira, known for his work on Modern Obscure Music alongside Japanese musician Yumi Iwaki, now joins forces with Vian to explore a hypnotic fusion of electronic textures and meditative guitar work.

The two extended compositions pay homage to Manuel Göttsching, the pioneering German musician who passed away on December 4, 2022. Drawing from Göttsching’s signature looping guitar patterns and minimalist electronic structures, the duo creates a deeply atmospheric soundscape that bridges ambient, kosmische, and experimental music.

The EP also features a remix by renowned Japanese producer Kuniyuki Takahashi, who reinterprets the material with his distinctive organic approach.
