The exhortation “Conosci te stesso” (know yourself) is an ancient Greek sentence carved in the temple of Apollo in Delphi. Researchers agree, even with some differences, that with this sentence Apollo meant to command man to “recognize his own limits”. Knowing oneself could seem opposite to knowing the world, but these two knowledge can be considered two faces of the same coin: philosophy is man’s outburst towards knowledge. A living contemporary knowledge cannot be in disregard of a mind that knows and of its conditions. For me this sentence not only has the meaning of a question but also that of a statement: know yourself. From here I start a new journey through research based on the conclusion of the previous one. – Giovanni Sanguineti
