Ikuyo Nakamichi's long-awaited recording of Mozart concertos is with the master conductor Michiyoshi Inoue, who retired from conducting in December 2024. Mozart has been an important part of Nakamichi's repertoire, and the concerto has been played by her since her debut, earning her high acclaim not only with domestic orchestras but also overseas in the United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Canada, and Belgium. For this recording, an orchestra named "Ensemble Amideo" was formed by Mr. Inoue, and the players, including concertmaster Kota Nagahara, whom Mr. Inoue trusts and with whom he would like to share his final music-making experience, gathered to perform with him. The recording session was an intimate music-making session. The recording session was held at Dai-ichi Seimei Hall in Kachidoki, Tokyo, which allows for intimate music-making, and on the final day of recording, all the players wore white, giving the performance a uniquely sacred and solemn atmosphere.
