Brad Turner is that rare, multi talented artist that conveys truth and beauty in a myriad of ways. Whether the channel is the trumpet, the piano or one of his compositions, Turner has consistently revealed an original voice.

On this collection of nine pieces—all but one composed by the leader—he has chosen to highlight his brilliant pianistic skills. Joined by bassist Darren Radtke, drummer Bernie Arai and conguero/percussionist Jack Duncan on several tracks, the ensemble captivates. The harmonies are sophisticated and unpredictable, the grooves run deep and there is a feeling of inevitability to the melodic line…the mark of a true composer.
