Léonie Pernet - Poèmes Pulvérisés (2025) [Hi-Res]

Since the release of her 2021 album Le Cirque de Consolation, French artist Léonie Pernet has undergone a profound personal and artistic transformation. A pivotal trip to Niger to meet her father’s family — previously unknown to her — inspired deep introspection and ultimately led to her third album, Poèmes Pulvérisés, releasing in June 2025 via Crybaby and InFiné.

The album takes its name from René Char’s poetry, reflecting a fragmented, multi-layered identity. Pernet blends French pop, classical, electronic, African and Arabic rhythms, and experimental soundscapes, creating a genre-defying work that connects her French upbringing with her African heritage.

Beyond her solo work, Léonie has recently collaborated with artists like Clara Ysé, Lucie Antunes, and Awa Ly, and has composed scores for film and theatre, including H24 (Arte), Dispak Dispac’h (Avignon 2024), and Le Deuxième Sexe (2025). Her deep connection to poetry continues to guide her artistry, also evidenced by her literary contributions such as a preface to La femme qui boit by Colette Andris.

Poèmes Pulvérisés is a powerful artistic statement—intimate, borderless, and poetically fragmented.
