Muncho makes music for memories; drives in the dark, the AM dial, the kinda stuff you cherish forever.

Andrew Mazerolle (Monomyth, Ira Hardly) has been writing and home-recording songs in various projects since about 2005.

Muncho’s, Is This Something?, is Mazerolle‘s first full length solo LP. It was recorded piecemeal on a finicky cassette 4-track in his Vancouver bedroom, with drum contributions from Greg Napier (Homeshake, Special Noise) and Jesse Locke (Chandra Band, Tough Age, Motorists).

Is This Something? is a collection of jangly lo-fi guitar-pop confections, but it’s a restless one – veering periodically from the jangle at its core to one-off experiments in Melvins-style doom, twangy psych-country and beyond.
