Guitarist Raphael Feuillâtre announces his upcoming album Spanish Serenades, on which he presents Spanish masterworks performed on the original 19th-century guitars of Albéniz, Solés, and Tárrega.

The guitarist has established himself as one of the world’s leading guitar virtuosos. Yet given his young age he approaches these famous pieces from a fresh and passionate perspective. Also a prolific scorer, Feuillâtre created his own new arrangements of many of the tracks, synthesizing them into a uniquely personal and passionate artistic style. As the artist notes, recording iconic Spanish works is a rite of passage for any leading guitarist.

Listen to a further pre-release track of the joyful and mediative sixth movement “Epílogo“ taken from Enrique Granados’s Escenas Románticas and transcribed by the guitarist himself. The full album will be released digitally on 6 June.

Someone booklet or back cover ?

So expressive !!
Folklore or soulful, even close to Flamenco !?
Opposite to sophisticated Guitar in these years !
I adore Guitarist whose thumb is full of nuances :)
Aranjuez has best balance between Solo and Orchestra !
Top Spanish Guitar anthology !!
Thanks a lot
