Rettore is one of the most innovative singers in the recent history of Italian music, renowned for her long career and hits such as Kobra, Donatella, Io ho te, Di Notte specialmente, Femme Fatale, Chimica, Faccio da me, and Lamette. In 1979, she achieved extraordinary popularity with the song Splendido splendente and the album Brivido Divino. The following year saw the release of Kobra. Crowned the queen of summer in 1981 thanks to Donatella, Rettore earned a gold record with the album Estasi Clamorosa, which also includes Remember, written by Elton John.
