Various Artists - Galletas Calientes Present: AfroColombia Remix, Vol. 3 (2025)

Colombian labels Galletas Calientes Records and Palenque Records have released the third volume of the AfroColombia Remix series, combining African and Colombian sounds with contemporary electronic music. This release celebrates the 20th anniversary of both labels and the memory of Caribbean groove maestro Abelardo Carbonneau. Azuka singer Anthony Moweta from Nigeria showcases his unique music inspired by Igbo culture and heritage. Abelardo Carbono from Colombia also has a vibrant creativity, combining Afro-Caribbean roots with psychedelia. The collection features carefully selected remixes from producers and musicians from around the world, preserving the original songs and adding new rhythms. The album's illustrations were created by artist William Gutierrez Peñalosa, reflecting the popular culture of the Colombian Caribbean islands.
