Arpe Diem Jazz - Time 4 Loving (2025) [Hi-Res]

Time 4 loving is an experimental project by the new group Arpe Diem Jazz, which with a particular composition – voice, harp, double bass and drums – brings together, rearranging them in two fundamental dimensions of jazz, paradigmatic rhythms and love stories of contemporary popular music.

The series of songs on the album includes almost all the rhythms and tempos of modern jazz – 3/4, ballad, swing, tango, bossanova, 7/4, the 12/8 Afro and the most famous 5/4 of all time, take five together with typical love themes and lyrics of the composers chosen.

Interpreting them: in addition to the harp and double bass duo, Marina Maccari and Vincenzo Aprile respectively, two masters of Roman jazz: Laura Lala on vocals and M. Luca Chiaraluce on drums. A mix of experiences and stories, different and eclectic, all united by a great common passion: rhythm and love. These are therefore “times to love” with unusual and fascinating jazz harmonies and sounds.
