Renowned fiddler, songwriter, and frontman of Lost Bayou Ramblers, Louis Michot returns with his solo album Seauxleaux, recorded live in a single session on December 2, 2024, at Dockside Studio (Louisiana), without a single overdub.

Seauxleaux is an intimate, minimalist, and richly evocative collection, rooted in the traditional Cajun repertoire and original songs that convey the spirit and sorrow of Franco-Louisianan culture.

Louis Michot performs using fiddle, guitar, vocals, foot stomps, and space-delay effects, each recorded in real time on separate tracks.

The result is a powerful, raw, and deeply honest album that continues his path of musical activism and commitment to preserving Cajun heritage.
