The Penrose Web is the new collaborative project from UK underground veterans Allan Crockford (The Galileo 7) and Ian Button (Papernut Cambridge). Their debut album The Least of Our Concerns blends sunshine psych, trashy garage, baroque soul, and introspective pop with glam, acid folk, and suburban melancholy. Recorded entirely by the duo, it’s a richly textured, genre-crossing work that reflects decades of musical heritage, yet feels fresh and idiosyncratic — a modern cult classic in the making.
