December/Sedimonthole is the second album by international collective Thaba, completed by producer Gabriel Cyr in tribute to the late vocalist Khusi Seremane. Blending genre-fluid arrangements with deep South African roots, the record explores themes of grief, spirituality, and love. With influences ranging from kwaito and mbaqanga to jazz, soul, reggae, and ambient experimentation, it’s a powerful musical meditation on loss and remembrance.
