‘New Tricks’ is the highly anticipated debut album from Gary Hubber—an artist proving it’s never too late to find your voice and share your truth.

Due for release on Friday 6 June, ‘New Tricks’ is a dynamic musical journey that encapsulates the resilience of the human spirit and the myriad emotions woven into the fabric of life.

Spanning 13 songs (plus a bonus track, the crowd-favourite ‘Davina’), the album explores themes of change, empowerment, love, and self-discovery through a diverse collection of songs written over four decades.

Gary Hubber is a singer/songwriter from Melbourne.
His previous EP ‘Coming Back Again’ was released in September 2023, and together with the four singles already released off the ‘New Tricks’ album, his music has received over 60K streams and found radio airplay across Australia. This exciting new work will surely build on that following.

‘New Tricks’ was recorded at Beat Tank Studios by producer Ben Hense who also features as lead and bass guitarist on many of the tracks.
