Originally released as part of Yellow Dog's Ultimate Collection boxes in 1994, the four volumes of Studio 2 Sessions at Abbey Road received a standalone release the next year, probably because they were the main draw of the sets. While they did not suffer from the noise reduction of the earlier Yellow Dog efforts such as Unsurpassed Masters, some parts ran noticeably slow, and also featured a bit of a "loudness" EQ curve. Still, they remain perfectly enjoyable listens and a good way to get all of this material in one place.
