Khan Party 23 (1993) is the bold and unique debut album from Yat-Kha, merging Tuvan throat singing with electro-rock, avant-garde, and industrial rhythms. Drawing comparisons to Coil, Phurpa, and László Hortobágyi, the album shifts from aggressive psychedelic techno and noise to meditative, ritualistic soundscapes. This release placed Yat-Kha on the global map and remains one of the most unusual records of the early ’90s.
