After two decades and over 500 releases, Compost Records launched a new digital compilation concept titled Compost Eclectic Selection, part of the Compost Selection series. Unlike traditional genre-based collections, this fresh approach highlights the label’s diverse, multi-genre catalog with carefully curated selections by Compost artists. Most releases are available as digital downloads, with rare exceptions issued as ultra-limited CDs (only 500 copies).

Inspired by compilations like AnotherLateNight and LateNightTales, long-time collaborators Art-D-Fact and Rupert & Mennert each compiled a distinct chapter of this 2-CD-style concept. The second chapter focuses on Compost’s output from the 1990s to 2010s, revisiting the label’s deep legacy with standout tracks by Fon-Kin, A Forest Mighty Black, The Family Tree, and classics from Joash and Alex Attias presents Mustang. It's a seamless, genre-crossing listening experience with signature Compost quality.
