The album Minerves is the debut release by the French band Minerves from Perpignan, formed in 2019. Inspired by pop psych garage and '90s post-punk, the four members awaken at dusk to craft a naive, nocturnal, and hungry topology of rock'n'roll. The album reshapes soundscapes reminiscent of adolescent experiences influenced by Velvet Underground, early Pixies, and Sonic Youth. Produced by Briane Santo B., the tireless preacher of Perpignan garage, it features 12 tracks including Dick Is Dead, Casa Julia, Divine, and Black Hole, blending psychedelia, post-punk, and garage rock with raw energy and atmospheric depth.
