Avoiding pale pastiche, the album brings a fresh perspective through an East-West musical lens. Tracks pulse with energy akin to Islam Chipsy’s Cairo street raves or Rizan Sa’id’s dabke backdrops for Omar Souleyman, featuring autotuned vocals and daring synth improvisations.
