Lino Cannavacciuolo - Terra Moto (2025) [Hi-Res]

Pozzuoli (Tuesday, July 22, 2025) – Translating into music the emotions generated by a natural phenomenon like bradyseism: this is the heart of the new discographic project by the violinist from Pozzuoli, Lino Cannavacciuolo.

His new album, titled Terra Moto, was officially presented in the evocative setting of Rione Terra, in Pozzuoli. The artist explained that the compositions collected in the album stem from the need to exorcise the fear and discomfort that he, along with many citizens of the Campi Flegrei, experiences every day living with bradyseism.

"It arises from the discomfort that I live and that all the citizens of the Campi Flegrei live – Cannavacciuolo recounted –. To exorcise the situation, I put my fears into music." The album thus presents itself as a sonic narrative, a journey through deep and complex emotions, but with a gaze turned toward hope and the resilience of those who inhabit a fragile and wonderful territory.

The event also represented an opportunity to reflect more broadly on the current historical moment in the Phlegraean area. The debate featured architect Francesco Escalona and actor Nando Paone, both intervening to share their impressions and their bond with the territory. Paone expressed great esteem for Cannavacciuolo, defining himself as a long-time admirer and underscoring the importance of being present on such a significant occasion.

Francesco Escalona, on the other hand, emphasized the difficulties that bradyseism continues to cause the community: "The territory seemed to be finally on the rise – he said – then bradyseism came back to visit us. We must find a way to learn to manage it, so that it does not cause further discomfort in people's daily lives."

Terra Moto thus configures itself as an artistic and civic work, capable of uniting art, sentiment, and awareness of the present, offering the public a new key to interpreting a complex reality like that of the Phlegraean area.
