This is the first in a series based on the limited edition box set "YMO 1979 TRANS ATLANTIC TOUR LIVE ANTHOLOGY," which captures the entirety of YMO's 1979 overseas tour. YMO's first overseas performance was as a special guest at the Tubes' three-day show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, USA, on August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, 1979. "YMO LIVE AT THE GREEK THEATRE 08/04/1979" contains all seven tracks from the final day, August 4th. Under the supervision of Haruomi Hosono, world-renowned engineer GOH HOTODA mixed and mastered the multi-track master.
