"This album holds a very special, almost intimate, place in my heart.

Since I was 15, I’ve always composed alone, diving deep into solitude and exploring its most hidden corners. That solitary journey allowed me to build my own musical language, but for this new release on Yuku, I felt the need for something different: to open myself up, to meet other perspectives, to explore new forms of musical dialogue.

It seemed essential to experiment with something new, to break out of my creative habits, and even to put myself at risk. I wanted to step away from the artistic isolation I knew so well — which had begun to weigh on me — and invite otherness into my music, to see what it might bring.

So I set out to create a collaborative album, an ambitious project that pushed me to learn a lot: patience, listening, letting go, and that delicate search for balance that every artistic collaboration requires. Each exchange with the nine artists involved was unique, sometimes smooth, sometimes more complex, but always meaningful and creatively rich.

Throughout the process, I experimented with ways of working that were often far from my own. I had to rethink how I compose, how I structure things, how I communicate. And that’s what made the journey so valuable. Some collaborations felt natural, others required distance, doubt, adaptation, and all of them helped me grow.

I’m deeply grateful to these nine artists for jumping on board with me in this slightly crazy project that accompanied me throughout the past year. It’s a joy and an honor to bring them together here, and to introduce some of them for the first time into the Yuku universe.

This album is as much a collection of encounters as it is a reflection of my desire to evolve. It marks a turning point for me, a moment where I realize that music, no matter how personal it may be, becomes even more powerful when it’s shared."
