Hora Prima - Hora Prima (2025) [Hi-Res]

Secondo album per la giovane formazione barese degli Hora Prima, già vincitrice di contest in Italia, e lo scorso anno sul palco del Veruno Festival.
Anche questo è un concept album con sei lunghi brani ed una bonus track che prevede la loro rivisitazione di un brano storico dei New Trolls "Le Roi Soleil". La musica prende ispirazione dai grandi gruppi italiani (Pfm, New Trolls, Orme su tutti) ma con il piglio e la modernità del suono di oggi.

L'album si focalizza su alcune riflessioni in merito al rapporto tra l'essere umano e la tecnica (intelligenza artificiale e l’ingerenza delle “macchine” a sostituzione del lavoro creativo), sul rapporto tra l’essere umano e la religione, spiritualità, credenze e miti della modernità, sul ritorno alle radici umane, alla verità biologica, al rapporto con il corpo e la sua intelligenza, al sentire essendo presenti a se stessi, consapevoli, eradicando l’illusorietà dei costrutti sociali e della “catena di montaggio”, baluardo consumistico a garanzia di “un’esistenza da scaffale”.

Un grande album fresco e frizzante come i ragazzi del gruppo...

Second album for the young band from Bari, Hora Prima, already winner of contests in Italy, and last year on the stage of the Veruno Festival.
This is also a concept album with six long songs and a bonus track that includes their revisitation of a historic song by New Trolls "Le Roi Soleil". The music takes inspiration from the great Italian groups (Pfm, New Trolls, Orme above all) but with the attitude and modernity of today's sound.

The album focuses on some reflections on the relationship between the human being and technology (artificial intelligence and the interference of "machines" to replace creative work), on the relationship between the human being and religion, spirituality, beliefs and myths of modernity, on the return to human roots, to biological truth, to the relationship with the body and its intelligence, to feeling being present to oneself, aware, eradicating the illusory nature of social constructs and the "assembly line", a consumerist bulwark to guarantee "a shelf existence".
