A fleeting feeling, one you can’t really grasp all the way, but still linger in all the same. A feeling of unexplainable joy mixed with sorrow, constant and unmoving. It’s so prevalent here, in each little crack and crevice. Everywhere you turn, everywhere you could ever be, everywhere you can feel something, it’s right there. Inescapable, but you don’t mind. Because here in this place, it’s warm and doesn’t judge. Almost like a house, but not quite. It holds no shape, no image of what it is, no memory of anything past this very moment. You can’t talk to a feeling, but still, the words spill forth and don’t stop. It can’t respond, but still, the overwhelming weight of your words carry a meaning anyone could understand. Maybe not fully, but bits and pieces. These thoughts keep rushing through your skull, through your bloodstream and nerves, through corners of your body that see no light. And they linger. They don’t leave. Always inside you, always there. It’s kind of comforting, if you think about it.

Do you like Bcnr? Or just art rock in general? Well here ya go, another masterpiece to add to your collection. When I finished listening to this album for the first time I thought, “No way these guys aren’t riding the same hype wave as everyone else right now, right?” Well, sad to say they aren’t. It’s such a shame that this is so underrated, because it’s genuinely one of the best pieces of music I’ve ever heard. So much heart and talent packed into just 35 minutes. So many sprawling landscapes of emotion and humanity. Beauty that sweeps you off your feet at every turn, and never leaves you underwhelmed. I’m always bad at framing just how deeply things affect me, but at the very least, I can try to convey how much something means to me. It means more than just an incredible album, more than a 100 on my screen. Something that I consider perfect is something that I can feel deeply. And with all honesty, that’s all I did here. Feel deeply. The whole way through, every single second is pure magic. Enchanting, spellbinding, gripping, all of it. Knowing that there’s music like this out there, hidden and waiting to be played, it gives me a sense of relief. Relief that we can always find something else. Something worth digging for.
