A Raw Muscular Piano reimagines Death By Unga Bunga’s rock record Raw Muscular Power as an intimate solo-piano set. Keyboardist Preben Sælid Andersen arranges the songs (e.g., “Camouflage,” “Therapy,” “I’m Really Old,” “Ring meg hvis du trenger en venn,” etc.) into lyrical, minimalist instrumentals, letting hooks and chord movement carry the energy without guitars or drums. Andersen also produced and mixed the record, with mastering by Magnus Gulbrandsen.
