The album is a collection of remixes by the renowned producer El Búho, featuring classic tracks from the Colombian bands Son Palenque, Alegres Ambulancias de Mar y Rio, and Matachindé, originally released on the Palenque Records label. El Búho has reinterpreted the traditional Afro-Colombian sound and the raw recordings of these groups by adding modern electronic elements.
