Underground Mountains - Underground Mountains (2022)

This is the debut album from the Canadian instrumental band Underground Mountains. The music consists of extended psychedelic jam sessions built on thick, enveloping guitar drone, fuzz, and wah-wah effects. The compositions develop slowly, creating a hypnotic and meditative atmosphere. The album is a ritualistic exploration of soundscapes where there are "no wrong notes, only doorways to step through." It's raw and free-form psychedelic rock, captured in a live, improvisational style.
