Adult Romantix plays like a farewell love letter to L.A.: widescreen dream-pop and shoegaze textures collide with jangly indie-rock and icy breakbeats. Drawing on Romantic literature (Mary Shelley), ’90s rom-coms, and French New Wave, Samira Winter turns heartbreak and relocation into a cinematic, hook-laden haze. Guest spots from Tanukichan (“Hide-A-Lullaby”) and Horse Jumper of Love’s Dimitri Giannopoulos (“Misery”); produced with longtime collaborator JooJoo Ashworth, mixed by Henry Stoehr — and marking Winter’s Winspear debut.
