To compose her very first album, Arielle Beck chose to draw from the source of German Romanticism: a living and gushing source, since the young pianist accompanies the monumental works she performs here with her own variations on the theme of Schumann's Bunte Blätter , which had once inspired Brahms and Clara Schumann: illustrious elders of whom the young musician proves to be the worthy heir.
