The cover's got an image of the New York City skyline, circa 1977 – and the sound library grooves within do a pretty great job of matching that vibe as well! The set's awash in sweet funky electric touches – and some cuts are jazzy, some are clubby, and all are handled with a style that's right up there with the best Italian sound library material of the period – small combo work that's never too slick or commercial, but really well-played – with more than enough of the right funky elements to appeal to any New York listener of the time, even though the album was only pressed in a very limited run, and never originally issued to the public at all. Titles include "Subways", "Bus Stop", "Fluting", "Magnolia Boulevard", "Cigar's Factory", "Nigros", and "Niagara Falls".
