Scott Seskind - Chance (Remastered) (2025) [Hi-Res]

Chance is the second album by American singer-songwriter Scott Seskind, originally self-released in 1991 as a limited-run cassette of fewer than 1,000 copies. Recorded at home on a four-track Portastudio cassette machine, the album features voice and acoustic guitar with subtle additions of cello, female backing vocals, mandolin, and percussion. The lyrics explore themes of friendship, loss, memory, and hope, creating the feeling of a personal conversation rather than a performance. Among the tracks is “I Remember,” which gained cult status after appearing on the Skygirl compilation (Efficient Space). The 2025 reissue marks the first release on vinyl and CD, including the bonus track “Last Song.”
