Fred Pouget is a contemplative soul, a man who climbs mountains and takes the time to observe the trees. He lives in a large house in the heart of nature, a meeting place for artists where many beautiful ideas are born. The rediscovery of the harpsichord pieces by Jean-Philippe Rameau (1683-1764), some of the most refined and elaborate of the French school, touched his trilingual musician's heart (he practices classical repertoire, jazz, and traditional music with equal passion).

He decided to make these masterpieces the subject of an unprecedented artistic exploration. He created a new orchestra and a new project, both named "Sauvage" (Wild), perhaps an unconscious way of affirming their audacity.

Here are the members of the Sauvage ensemble:
Fred Pouget: Clarinets
Guillaume Schmidt: Saxophones
Anne Colas: Flutes
Benoît Michaud: Hurdy-gurdy
Rozann Bézier: Trombone
Maarten Decombel: Guitar, Mandolin, Vocals
Maïlys Maronne: Keyboard, Piano, Vocals
Janick Martin: Diatonic Accordion
Ömer Sarigedik: Bass, Electronic machines
Adrien Chennebault: Drums, Percussion
