Signed to an American record label in the late 90’s, he spent the next few years touring around the US, Europe and Asia, building a solid following for his projects The Finkers and his own popular Powerpop solo albums.

Over the last couple of decades he has evolved out of the power pop world into various forms within the country and alt country community, including successful projects with the Cuban Heels, Carpenter Caswell, The April Family, The Country Rock Collective and the popular collaboration with The Banks Brothers.

On top of that, Carpenter has been a consistently busy record producer, mixing engineer, sideman, photographer, video maker and writer, working on literally thousands of projects, covering all genres of music.
