Love is Strange" hit #1 on the R&B charts in 1957 and #11 on the U.S. charts. Starting with that, they had a string of many hits. This is the first domestic release of an album that offers a taste of the giddy bluegrass R&B created by the duo at the peak of their careers. Mickey Baker of Mickey and Sylvia has a hidden popularity in Japan as a blues guitarist with his own unique style. Sylvia is a singer with many hit songs, including the number one hit "Pillow Talk," and later became a very successful producer. Many of the tracks on this album confirm the origins of these two artists. As the title suggests, the visionary songs have a charm that keeps people coming back for more. The long-awaited CD release includes nine important bonus tracks that were not included on the album.
