Lori Williams - Here We Are (2025) [Hi-Res]

Here We Are by Lori Williams, released on Double Moon Records, is a heartfelt collaboration between the American jazz vocalist and a group of long-time European colleagues. The ensemble includes Bernhard Wiesinger (saxophone), Christian Havel (guitar), Renato Chicco (piano), Joris Dudli (drums), and Doug Weiss (bass).

The album blends original compositions with timeless standards such as “My Romance” and a moving rendition of James Taylor’s “Fire and Rain.” Most of the lyrics were written by Lori Williams, whose expressive voice moves seamlessly between jazz, soul, and gospel. More than a studio project, Here We Are captures the spirit of friendship, improvisation, and the joy of making music together.
