Plønk - Bridge of Glass (2025)

The musical duo Björn & Christian have released an album based on their shared passion for the traditional music of their home countries, Denmark and Germany. The centerpiece of the project is a rare instrument—the Waldzither, a 9-string German cittern that was nearly forgotten in the last century. The album features both traditional tunes and original compositions, performed on two restored instruments built around 1920. The album's title was inspired by a unique feature of these Waldzithers—their bridges, which are made of glass.
