"América Zureta" is the fourth album by Brazilian musician Ian Lasserre, released on the Swedish label Ajabu!. The album is produced by the Swede Sebastian Notini and is a musical work deeply rooted in the traditions of MPB (Música popular brasileira). The sound is dominated by the nylon-string guitar and other acoustic instruments, creating an organic and atmospheric canvas. Thematically, the album touches on pressing social and political issues such as populism, racism, and environmental problems in Latin America. Despite the seriousness of the themes, the music carries a message of hope.
