This album catapulted the talented singer into stardom; the Cuban singer belts it out with energetic zest and fury, as well as raw sensitivity. The title tune (composed by Ismael Miranda) remains his most celebrated hit. No other artist has transformed anger into the realms of the salsa arena with such determination; it is a fierce statement.
