Amber & the Moon - Are We Alright? (2025) [Hi-Res]

The Hamburg-based quartet Amber & The Moon is releasing their second album, titled "Are We Alright?". Musically, the band evolves its indie-folk sound, enriching it with strings and piano, which lends a cinematic scope and intimate fragility to the songs. The lyrics explore complex life questions, doubts, and themes of acceptance, inspired in part by Rilke's "Letters to a Young Poet." Like their debut, the new album was recorded using analog methods at Studio Nord in Bremen, emphasizing the band's organic and handmade sound. Vocalist Ronja Pöhlmann notes that since the first album, the band has found a common musical language, which streamlined the work on the new record. Ahead of the release, a tour across Germany is planned, mostly in a duo format for financial reasons, along with a major record release show in Hamburg featuring the full band and guest musicians.
