Blastromen - Robot Aggression + Blasteroids (2025)

Blastromen fans have waited seven years for new material - so it's only fair that the iconic electro act ends this hiatus with their second release in as many weeks. Hot on the heels of the ØEra EP, they deliver their fourth artist album. The sense of euphoria that prevailed on their comeback single has given way to a darker mood on this long player. "Robot Aggression" and "Sexy Droid" set the tone, with cold, steely rhythms and pulsating acid lines prevailing. They follow that with "Le Nucleaire Civile", an ebm-influenced stepper. While vocals do feature on "Blasteroids", they play out against a lean, linear rhythm inspired by Dopplereffekt's electro funk.
