Léonie Pernet - Magma (Bande originale du film) (2025) [Hi-Res]

Composer Léonie Pernet wrote the music for Cyprien Vial's new film, which is set in Guadeloupe against the backdrop of a threatened eruption of the Soufrière volcano. The plot centers on the relationship between the head of the volcanological observatory, Katia, and a young local, Aimé, whom she mentors. Pernet's electronic music intertwines with the sounds of nature, reflecting both the tense atmosphere and the main character's internal experiences. The soundtrack, characterized by its melancholic and luminous sound, also includes contemporary Guadeloupean pop songs.
